New to V8d?

V8d is a small organization built up of private servers of several different kind. The IRC server is where anyone can come to chat about life, spill out their entire life story, cry, celebrate, or just make some new friends. One thing you can guarantee on when online on the V8d server, is the community spirit, and the feeling of being right at home.

V8d IRC has many channels dedicated (sometimes) to many things. A list of them is available on elsewhere on the wiki.

V8d is not just involved in IRC, we have various groups on other social networks; for example, we have a group on Frappr. We also intend to start hosting some social events off-line, maybe in the form of a convention, party, or simply meeting up for paint balling. It's easy to get in on any of this, simply join V8d Org and we'll be sure to welcome you in. If you think you may be able to help us - an idea for an event, or hosting one, maybe playing (if you're a band) at one - then do contact us. We're also very open to new ideas for software we should start using.
